Valeria Sarto is a Peruvian-Italian photographer from Miami Beach, based in Paris. Rooted in analog techniques and darkroom precision, her photography blends storytelling with a strong sense of nostalgia, balancing intuitive spontaneity with refined composition to create emotionally rich, authentic imagery.
Memory lies at the heart of her work. She is drawn to the past and how it speaks to the present, and to images that carry the unsaid yet felt. The influence of street and snapshot photography runs through her travel and personal projects, where she looks for life as it unfolds. In her commissioned work, the approach is more structured, building a world within the real world and bringing people, places, and things to life with detail, held together by a human touch.
Her work has been featured in Vogue Türkiye, Madame Figaro, and L'Œil de la Photographie. She was awarded the Prix de la Photographie American Vintage at the 41st edition of the Hyères Festival, and was shortlisted for PhotoVogue’s Women by Women. She is the author of À La Folie, a self-published photobook.

Valeria Sarto is a Peruvian-Italian artist and fashion, travel, and hospitality photographer from Miami Beach, now living and working between Paris and Miami, with a growing presence in New York.
Working across fashion, luxury hotels, and global destinations, her imagery blends cinematic storytelling with a strong sense of nostalgia. Her refined yet intuitive approach captures emotionally rich, atmospheric moments that elevate both brand identity and visual narrative.
Influenced by street photography and often working in analog formats, Valeria incorporates film and darkroom processes to create timeless, intentional images with depth and texture. Her work balances spontaneity with precise composition, resulting in visuals that feel both elevated and authentic.
